Now more about The Spartan!

Spartan Royal Mansion, 1955, 40ft long. It’s almost 70yo! It’s an iconic and unique travel trailer, 

WE COMPLETELY GUTTED IT OUT AND REMODELED-new plumbing, wiring, walls, everything!
 
I bought The Spartan in April of 2023 and started working on it right away. It was not an easy task, as I really wanted to make it super modern, hight quality, photogenic, minimalistic, and an amazing stay experience. At the time I bought The Spartan, I didn’t have a property to set it on, it was simply a dream with a lot of hope!

In July 2023 I hired a contract who has been making more progress on it that I ever could and really helped me to turn my dream into a reality. We are on the final stages of getting it done and I can’t wait to share photos of it being completely ready and set for the guests. We need to lay the flooring, tile the bathroom, bring furniture in and setup the patio and it’s ready to do!
I can’t believe in Feb 2024 I actually found my dream property with a creek, mountains, wetlands, pond, and mossy trees. 15 acres of land and just 1h20min away from downtown Tacoma, WA! Please check out the photos to see how pretty that is!

The camper is located in Matlock, WA – full address will shared with you after booking as it’s a private property.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BEFORE LEAVING 

I am asking to do 4 things prior to checking out:

-Hand wash the dishes the best you can. I really appreciate that🤍

-Take off the bed sheets and mattress cover, and place on bed along with the towels.

-All the trash is in the trash can and spills are wiped dry to touch.

-Make sure furniture and decor items are returned back to its place at the best of your ability (refer to photos).

-Hot tub lid is covered.

PLEASE MAKE SURE

-HOTUB lid is always covered when hot in use

-NO food is left outside-otherwise be prepared to have a bear/raccoons/opossums/kayottes and etc walking around the camper at night. It’s not fun, trust me 🥲

-Watch your step getting in and out the camper and walking near the drop.

THINGS THAT ARE OUT OF MY CONTROL

-Spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, and a mirror.
-Heater is installed in this room. It’s warm and cozy 🙂

To me, it’s very important to have clean, healthy, organic environment. If you are a little bit of a clean freak/have any potential allergies or sensitive skin, you probably will really enjoy this read + a photo with labels of all the cleaning products I use is in “cleaning” tab! Here are my cleaning protocols:

HARD SURFACES 
Cleaned with food-safe disinfectant spray (from Trader Joe’s) after each stay.

MATTRESS
Sprayed with fabric disinfectant after each stay.

FLOORS
Vacuumed and mopped after each stay. Steam cleaned when needed or once a week 🙂 

DISHES
Please hand wash your dishes before leaving, I for sure will double check it’s clean after your stay 🙂 

HOTUB
MONTHLY
It’s drained, pressure washed, and re-filled. 
DAILY
I check for all the chemical levels and adjust to ensure it’s sanitized and clean. 

BED SHEETS, MATTRESS COVER & TOWELS
All of our sheets and towels are white/off-white/lighter color to ensure cleanliness and freshness. 
EVERY STAY CARE
-I usually wash them on highest temperature of —- degrees with the detergent + home made fabric softener(distilled white vinegar+water+baking soda). 
-Then dry on highest temperature with wool dryer balls infused with DoTerra lavender oil.
STAINS
To remove stains I start with using non-bleach options, such as baking soda paste, hydrogen peroxide, lemon, distilled vinegar, and if non of those work, then bleach. After the stain is removed I go through my regular washing routine described above.
ANY RUGS
Are washed with bleach to ensure all the bacterias are gone.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW
IF you have any skin sensitivities/allergies/or just smell/product preferences. I will adjust my cleaning products and protocol accordingly. I would love you to enjoy the stay and not have to worry about outdoors or irrigations 🙂 

Free parking by the main house on the property. Parking space is very limited. We would really appreciate if you could limit it to one car per bnb.

The property has so much to offer and create that it will definitely be a few years to, but here are my major goals.

  • You may reschedule in case of:
    -Emergency.
    -Hazardous driving and weather conditions.
    -Sickness.
  • You may reschedule only twice.
  • IF YOU JUST DID NOT SHOW UP with no notice, we will not be able to reschedule or refund you.
  • PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS YOU FIND OUT SOMETHING IS NOT GOING ACCORDINGLY TO YOUR PLAN.
  • Guests may cancel their booking until 45 days before the booking start time and will receive a full deposit refund.
  • Guests may cancel their Booking between 45 days and 25 days before the booking start time and receive 50% of the deposit refunded.
  • Cancellations submitted less than 25 days before the Booking start time are not refundable.

Booking and paying for studio rental is proof of agreement to the following terms:

  • You agree to comply and make all guests and or representatives responsible as well.
  •  Agree to leave The Studio and surrounding property in the same condition as when you arrived. Booking instructions (sent prior to rental) must be followed, photos sent as instructed. Failure to do so will result in additional fees.
  • Please have your own liability insurance.
  • We’re not responsible for the personal property of renters or guests used during and anything left after reservation.
  • Cleaning fee does not cover general cleaning up after your shoot. This is your responsibility. This includes returning furniture to its original location, removing ALL of the garbage and taking with you, sweeping up excess dirt/debris and wiping up any spills that took place while you were there.
  • You are liable for all equipment and furniture on premises.
  • Any and all equipment that is damaged or broken will be replaced at 1.5 x’s the retail price. PLEASE use caution. Do not stand on chairs, sofa or tables.
  • Our studio is a non-smoking environment. No smoking inside of the studio at anytime.
  • Use of open flames (eg. candles, oil lamps) and/or pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited in the studio.
  • Please be courteous to other residents of the building, no large groups coming and going, no loud music. All activities other than load and unload must remain in studio. Absolutely nothing can be stored or set up in hallway or common areas.
  • Groups of more than 6 people are not allowed in the studio.
  • USE OF THE STUDIO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
  • SHOES  WORN OUTSIDE ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO PAST THE ENTRANCE RUG. PLEASE BRING A CLEAN PAIR OF SHOES TO CHANGE INTO, make sure your guests do the same.
  • NO PETS are allowed in the studio. Service animal are welcome with the certificate.

A) You hereby waive your right to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and losses while on our premises. You agree to release the host, its owners, agents, employees, affiliated independent contractors, or any other related personnel, the company and any of its subsidiaries of any and all liability for any and all accidents or injuries whether physical or mental, while in participation of, working and/or shooting in the studios, or any other activity in conjunction with this space, or situations that you encounter while renting the studio space.

B) You waive the studio and all leaseholders of any liabilities arising out of the use of the studio. The host or any of all leaseholders will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss or damage that occurs in the studio or on the premises.

C) It is your responsibility as the renter to carry liability insurances. The studio will ONLY be liable for the amount of rental fee if your shoot is delayed or canceled as a result of a situation that arises within the studio making the facilities/building unusable.

D) The studio expressly prohibits any illegal activity on its premises during the course of any rental. You agree to be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying your while on our premises. Please use caution when opening any windows. NO person is allowed to sit near an open window.

E) You agree to allow the studio representative to be present during rental period (if needed).
